Ms. Mary Kelly

Mary Kelly is a senior vice president of Gas Operations at Con Edison, the energy company serving the 10 million people of New York City and Westchester County. She is responsible for the safe design, construction, maintenance, and operation of our natural gas system. 

She is leading with the vision of Excellence Today, Shaping Tomorrow - sustaining the safety, quality, and reliability of the natural gas system while working to de-carbonize the overall energy delivery systems of tomorrow.    

Ms. Kelly has previously served as senior vice president of Information Technology overseeing business solutions delivery, technology infrastructure, digital transformation, data governance and analytics, cyber security, and corporate security.  She has also served as senior vice president of Corporate Shared Services, vice president of Gas Engineering, and vice president of Construction. Earlier, she held leadership positions in Gas, Construction, Human Resources and Information Technology.  

Ms. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Fordham University.  She was a Trustee for the New York Hall of Science from 2015 through 2024.
