  • was invited to present to the Long Island Network of Teacher Centers (LINC) for a full day workshop on the 13th of February, 2017. The workshop targeted specific methodologies appropriate for mainstream ELA and Social Studies K-12 teachers to use to meet the needs of English Language Learners.
  • was invited to present to 60 assistant Superintendents and Directors of Technology at Nassau BOCES on the 26th of January, 2017. The presentation focused on the use of educational technologies in the English as a New Language Classrooms.
  • coordinated a 'de-brief' session with pre-service English, Science and ESOL teachers to analyze effects of the past election on English Language Learners on the 16th of November, 2016.
  • published a peer-reviewed article "A Case Study of Data Use, Project-Based Learning, and Language Development for ELLs" in the Journal for Leadership and Instruction, volume 16, issue 2.
